Wildfire strikes Dripping Springs area

Wind, blowing up to 60 MPH in western Oklahoma, led to two fires near Arapaho on Sunday. Multiple units from surrounding cities and stations all assisted with the blaze.

A local man is facing charges after an alleged break-in and assault on a woman and her daughter.Officers from the Clinton Police Department were dispatched at 4:14 p.m. Feb. 20 to a residence on Glenn Smith Road in reference to a physical domestic in progress.

Jury finds trooper guilty in 2020 chase

KINGSTON, N.Y. (AP) — A former New York state trooper accused of ramming his vehicle into an SUV during a high-speed chase leading to the death of an 11-yearold girl was convicted of manslaughter Friday at his second trial.
