Bud was born on November 14 th , 1937 in Great Bend Kansas and was the only son of Orville and Daisy Fowler. He spent his early youth in California while his parents supported the war effort. The rest of his youth was spent in Clinton, Oklahoma, where he graduated from High School in 1956. He attended the University of Oklahoma at Norman and graduated in 1962 with a degree in Pharmacy.
