Earlier this week the Arapaho-Butler boys’ golf team did more than just compete in the Class 2A State Tournament at Buffalo Rock in Cushing.The Indians shot consistently for three rounds to finish sixth among the 12-team field and senior Ryan Carlisle earned All-State honors in the process.

Clinton High School soccer will get a chance this weekend to add to its dynastic legacy, as the Red Tornadoes earned the right to defend last year’s state championship thanks to a 2-1 victory Over Hilldale Tuesday at the Tornado Bowl.Clinton’s boys will play at 4:30 p.m.

Monday it was the Clinton High School boys’ tennis team’s turn to vie for a spot in this weekend’s Class 4A State Championship.Mission accomplished.Both doubles teams punched their ticket to the state tourney to be played back at the OKC Tennis Center where they competed in the regional tournament.

Arapaho-Butler competes in Class A State Track Meet

Five members of the Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians track team and one male competitor traveled this weekend to the Class A State Track Meet at Western Heights High School in Oklahoma City.The 4x800 relay team of Katie Edelen Morgandee Sawatzky Kamryn Oakes and Haley Cordes turned in a time of 11:01.
