Jefferson reflects on championships

Clinton Athletic Director and soccer coach Eugene Jefferson has seen both sides of athletics, from being a player and now working in athletics.In 1982, Jefferson was a senior and Clinton won the state championship defeating Bristow, 33-23, to cap off a perfect 15-0 season.

Clinton soccer history was made Saturday during the Class 4A State Championship at Oklahoma City’s Taft Stadium.The Red Tornadoes (16-1) came into the contest against Chickasha (14-4) as the defending state champions.
