Reds Track and Field hosting throws clinic tomorrow at CHS

Clinton track and field is hosting a discus and shot-put technique clinic, 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Clinton High School practice gym.The cost is $20 and the only thing participants need to bring are tennis shoes. Crocs or Hey Dudes are not allowed.

Clinton defeats Arapaho-Butler 7-5

CALUMET — Five miles separate Clinton and Arapaho-Butler, but both summer baseball teams played one another Tuesday 50 miles east at the Calumet Summer Festival.Clinton won the game 7-5, but it was a battle for both teams.

CALUMET — Clinton summer baseball was defeated in two games Monday in the first day of the Calumet Summer Festival.The Reds lost to Elgin 11-0 and lost to Hinton 9-4.Clinton played Arapaho-Butler Tuesday in the final game of the Calumet Summer Festival.The Reds will play their next game, 5 p.m.
