ENID – The 18thranked Clinton Red Tornadoes had little trouble returning to the win column Saturday as they won 84-49 over Western Heights.Clinton started the game with a 5-0 deficit. Caden Powell scored the first two points for Clinton to get the offense rolling.

ENID – The Clinton Lady Reds were unable to keep pace with No. 4 Weatherford Saturday, losing 54-34.Weatherford jumped out to an early 4-0 lead before Carmella Jefferson buried a step-back three-pointer to cut the Eagles’ to 4-3.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Clinton junior Trey Bennett earned a second place finish Saturday at the Class 4A State Wrestling Tournament.“Trey believed in himself, and I for sure believe in him,” Clinton head coach Shawn Finch said. “He went out and handled his competition. He wrestled tough in the finals.

BETHANY – The 19th-ranked Southwestern Oklahoma State Lady Bulldogs cruised to their 11th consecutive victory Saturday with a 71-55 win over Southern Nazarene.SWOSU outscored the Crimson Storm 41-26 in the first two quarters.
