Senior Clinton big man enjoys being on defense

As he takes in his final year of high school basketball, Clinton’s Kyron Forrest is starting to figure out the rest of his life.For Forest, he said having the opportunity to represent his school on the hardwood is everything to him.

OU’s Blaylock and Guillory named to All-Freshmen team

University of Oklahoma running back Tory Blaylock and defensive back Courtland Guillory were named to the SEC All-Freshman Team, the conference office announced Thursday. Selections were made by the league’s head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own players.

Lady Crusaders basketball shuts out Olustee

With both teams looking to start winning streaks in the early parts of the season, the Corn Bible Academy Crusaders took on the Olustee-Eldorado Diamondbacks Thursday at home.

OU Sooner football players named to AP All-SEC Teams

The Associated Press announced its All-SEC teams Wednesday, and Oklahoma wide receiver Isaiah Sategna III, kicker Tate Sandell and punter Grayson Miller were named to the All-SEC First Team in a vote by media members who cover the conference on a regular basis.

Even though he did not previously play for Clinton, newly transferred Wes Switzer is finding a home with the Reds this season.For Switzer, he said being a part of the Reds, and a student in Clinton Public Schools, means to be the best someone can possibly be.

OU Sooners named to All-SEC teams
