Lady Reds softball accomplishes goals during season

The Clinton Lady Reds softball team (10-19) heads into an offseason looking to build off the improvement it saw this year.Clinton’s season came to an end Friday against Bridge Creek in an 11-4 loss for its second loss of the tournament after defeating Ardmore 20-3.

Bridgeman wins weekly football picks contest

For last week’s edition of thePigskin Football Contest, Benton Bridgeman of Clinton took home the top prize after correctly guessing nine of the 10 games.He was tied with Janice Smith, also of Clinton.

Clinton puts Bobcats in cage

Coming off its first win of the season, the Clinton Red Tornado football team (2-3, 2-0) continued to find success, as it took down the Bridge Creek Bobcats (1-4, 0-2) Friday 40-20 in Blanchard.For acting coach Gene Ray, he said that while they got the win, it was not the way they wanted to get it.

Lady Indians softball starts postseason strong

To open the 2025 Class A Regional Tournament Thursday at Arapaho, the Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians softball team (29-8) took down the Okarche Lady Warriors 11-3 before a late rally pushed the team past Drummond 3-2 in their second game.
