In less than a week’s time, the Clinton soccer program sealed up its I-40 sweep, defeating Weatherford on the road Thursday and returning home to shut out Elk City Tuesday night. The Clinton girls (9-2 overall, 4-0 in district) needed a bounce back, despite beating Weatherford 3-2.

WEATHERFORD – The Clinton baseball team (11-8 overall, 6-2 in district) put numerous hits deep into the outfield and at the warning track but nearly all found the grasp of Weatherford (17-9, 10-1) in a 9-3, Custer County Conflict, district defeat Monday night.

ELK CITY – Both the Clinton golf team and senior, returning state qualifier Tyson Miller managed to place at Elk City’s tournament Monday, as CHS finished third in the team standings and Miller took home eighth overall. The team shot 386 to earn its top-three finish.
