CASHION – The Cashion Tournament started off with an easy, blowout win in favor of the Clinton boys’ basketball team (6-3 overall) Thursday night, with CHS quickly pouncing on Class A, No. 8 Vanoss (12-3) and never letting its opponent off the floor in a 59-24 win.

KINGFISHER – In just its second tournament of the season, the Clinton wrestling team put together another solid showing, placing sixth as a team, while seven Reds placed individually in the top six at conference, in Kingfisher.

Clinton goes 3-1 in back-to-back

Both Clinton basketball teams wrapped up a long stretch to open the post-Christmas break schedule, with a 3-1 combined mark Friday and Saturday night at home. The Lady Reds (5-3 overall) and Reds (5-3) played seven games each in 12 days.

New softball districts see little change for CHS
