Arapaho-Butler athletics are off to good starts in both fall sports, with the softball team carrying a 4-2 record through six games to go together with baseball’s 3-2 mark. The Lady Indians defeated Geary, 11-1, and lost to Binger-Oney, 8-0, in their seasonopening, three-team matchup.

Volleyball opens year at tourney

It’s been almost two weeks since the initial start date, but the Clinton volleyball team is expected to open the season Saturday at the Weatherford Tournament. A positive coronavirus test out of Erick cancelled the first opener, which was supposed to be played Tuesday, Aug. 11.

Volleyball on hold

Clinton volleyball’s season was paused, after a player tested positive for the coronavirus. The Lady Reds were scheduled to host the Best of the West Tourney Friday but it was postponed after news broke.
