Red Tornadoes send three athletes to All-State

Each year high school athletes earn their way to the prestigious All-State teams in their sport.Three recently graduated athletes from Clinton will compete in their respective sports next week.

Red Tornado football to face tough schedule

The 2025 season will be no easy test for the 17-time state championship football program.For Coach John Higbee, his staff and the players, they will have their work cut out for them if they want to add another gold ball to the trophy case.

Griffith put in charge of Clinton cross country

In the fall there will be a new face leading the Clinton cross country program, as Ashley Griffith will be the new head coach.For Griffith, she said she understands what it takes to be successful in the sport.“I love cross country,” she said.

Blundell to take over Clinton wrestling program

For the third consecutive year, the Clinton High School wrestling program will be under new leadership with the appointment of Rhett Blundell to the head spot.Looking at his vision for the program, Blundell said he has a precise plan for the squad he is taking charge of this year.

Clinton Round-up Club hosts 78th annual rodeo

Over the weekend, the Clinton Roundup Club hosted its second annual pro rodeo and 78th annual rodeo overall at the Clinton Roundup Arena.For the club’s vice president, Chris Weil, he said the rodeo went as well as it could have in his mind.“I thought everything went really well,” he said.
