Crossfit legend to teach class at Resolute Gym

It is not every day that a legend passes through and offers to teach a workout at a local gym.Four-time Individual Crossfit Games Champion and sixtime Team Champion with Crossfit Mayhem, Rich Froning, will be stopping at the Resolute Gym tomorrow starting at 5:30 p.m.

Reds’ late comeback attempt falls short at home

Despite scoring four runs in the final two innings, the Clinton Reds baseball team (1-1) was unable to complete a comeback and fell 5-4 Thursday to Kingfisher at home.

Overall fishing reported to be fair at Foss Lake

According to the fishing report from Custer County Game Warden Clint Carpenter, on May 18 the water at Foss Lake registered to be 2.5 feet below its normal elevation level, but it also remained in stable condition.

Area baseball players participate in all-star game

To commemorate their play this season, four area high school baseball players were selected to play in the Western Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game Wednesday in Weatherford.

Reds and Indians baseball battle for 183

Opening up the summer baseball schedule, Clinton and Arapaho-Butler came together Tuesday on the Reds’ home turf to fight it out for seven innings, as the Reds fought for the 8-6 come-from-behind win over the Indians.
