Clinton falls to Weatherford in four innings

To wrap up what become a one-day event due to inclement weather, the Clinton Reds baseball team (1-3) fell Friday to rival Weatherford at home in the final game of the Clinton Baseball Festival, 15-1.

Overall fishing reported as doing good at Foss Lake

According to the fishing report from Custer County Game Warden Clint Carpenter, on May 27 the water at Foss Lake continued to register at 2.5 feet below its normal elevation level, but it also remained in stable condition.

Clinton sends three to compete in Meet of Champions

For the final meet of the high school track and field season, the Clinton Red Tornadoes had three members of its team represent it at the annual Meet of Champions Tuesday over in Stroud.

Lorne to represent Clinton in K101 Bowl

Following his stellar play on the gridiron for the Clinton Red Tornadoes this season, recently graduated football player Malachi Lorne will don the Clinton logo on his helmet one more time as he participates in the K101 Bowl Saturday in Woodward.

Clinton baseball falls to Elk City in nine innings

Rather than playing two seven inning games in one day, the Clinton Reds and Elk City Elks baseball teams decided to play one nineinning game where the Reds (1-2) fell 7-3 at home Tuesday for their second straight loss of the summer season.
