Clinton Reds baseball falls to Bethany at home

After Mother Nature forced many games to be rescheduled Tuesday, Clinton (3-11) fell 9-3 to Bethany at home.Coach Kelly Gaunt said there are somethings they need to work on going forward if they want to succeed.“I honestly thought we were flat in the game today,” he said.

Most fishing reported to be fair at Foss Lake

According to the fishing report from Custer County Game Warden Clint Carpenter, on March 30 the water at Foss Lake was back to its normal elevation level, and it remained in stable condition.The water was clear with the temperature around 51°F.

Two-way senior to remember time with Clinton fondly

After years of playing baseball for Clinton, senior two-way player Craig Hunter looks toward the future as he prepares for life after high school.As he thinks about his time with the Reds, Hunter said it’ll be hard for him when he leaves the program after this year.

Clinton track finishes second in Elgin meet

In the second meet of the season, the Clinton Red Tornado track and field team saw improvements from the season opener.The boys’ team finished second with 80 points behind Marlow, who scored 134 points.The girls’ team recorded two points in the meet.

The Clinton boys’ golf team competed in the conference tournament Monday at the Prairie West Golf Course in Weatherford where the varsity scored 333 and finished fourth, whille the JV team scored 383 and finished 14th.
