Clinton boys’ hoops tallies a herd of season stats

With the regular season in the books, the Clinton High School boys’ basketball team collected lots of stats during the 24-game regular season this year.POINTSEthan Lofland led the team in total points scored this year, as he recorded 230 points in 24 games for the Reds this year.

Lady Reds wrestling ends season in regional event

Under the lights of the Class 5A Regional Tournament Monday in Cache, the Clinton Lady Reds wrestling team’s season came to an end as it fell short of sending a wrestler to the state tournament.Despite not qualifying, Coach Rob Pitman said his team fought hard in a large field.

Clinton basketball ends regular season in ‘Conf lict’

For the final regular season game of the season, both Clinton hoops teams hit the road Monday night to take on their biggest rival, the Weatherford Eagles, in the “Custer County Conflict.”Despite being tied after the first quarter, the Lady Reds (4-20) fell to the Lady Eagles 60-28.

Area high school basketball teams fighting through playoff brackets

As the lower OSSAA classes move through their playoff brackets, Arapaho-Butler and Corn Bible Academy look to have both their girls’ and boys’ basketball teams advance through the consolation bracket of their respective tournaments this week.
