Clinton’s Gaunt recognized with weekly award

For the week of March 24, former Clinton Red Tornado Gage Gaunt was recognized with the Bulldog of the Week Award for Southwestern Oklahoma State baseball.Gaunt received this honor after collecting eight hits in the four games during the week, including two home runs.

Clinton girls’ golf team finishes second in Kingfisher

The Clinton girls’ golf team continues to see success this season, as it finished second with a score of 339 at the Kingfisher Tournament Wednesday.Addyson Littke finished the day in third with a score of 78.Grace Meacham carded an 83, which tied her for 12th.

Clinton Reds baseball falls to Bethany at home

After Mother Nature forced many games to be rescheduled Tuesday, Clinton (3-11) fell 9-3 to Bethany at home.Coach Kelly Gaunt said there are somethings they need to work on going forward if they want to succeed.“I honestly thought we were flat in the game today,” he said.

According to the fishing report from Custer County Game Warden Clint Carpenter, on March 30 the water at Foss Lake was back to its normal elevation level, and it remained in stable condition.The water was clear with the temperature around 51°F.
